Field of History: Scottish Taymouth Castle, where Queen Victoria honeymooned

In September 1842, Queen Victoria and Prince Albert visited Scotland for the first time. During their visit, they stayed at various castles as guests of members of the Scottish nobility. One of them, the Breathtaking Taymouth Castle.

The grand interiors of the building reflect its prestigious place in history as Queen Victoria’s chosen honeymoon spot.

Regarded as one of the most important locations of its kind in the United Kingdom, Taymouth Castle is being developed into a high-end hotel, golf and spa retreat and is founded on a wealth of history and architectural importance.
